The perfect pot is the perfect addition to your garden during National Gardening Month. If you’ve been considering adding some new pots to your garden this year, the following are a few flower pots we’d recommend you take a look at.
Terra-Cotta: Classic, charming, and visually appealing, terra-cotta is the most commonly used flower pot on the market. While heavy and breakable, it will last for a very long time if you take care of it. Further, because of its porous construction, it allows plenty of air to reach the roots and water to drain away. If you want a little color, that’s not a problem when you select a glazed terra-cotta pot for your pansies and poinsettias.
Fiberglass: Light, durable, and cheap, fiberglass containers can be molded into a wide variety of shapes and styles. This makes it possible to find the perfect one to match your landscape’s decor. While they can flake and chip as time passes, they will be just fine if you treat them as being equally as fragile as terra-cotta.
Metal: The most durable of the bunch, metal’s heavy nature makes it a long-lasting addition to your garden. Just remember to coat your metal pots with a rust protector and UV-resistant sealant. Like fiberglass, the choices of shapes and styles are practically limitless, which allows you to select the perfect pot to pair with your growing flowers.
