Rosehill is dedicated to do our part in stopping the Covid-19 virus from spreading. Our intention is always to maintain a safe work environment for our customers and employees.
Essential Work:
As a Landscape Maintenance provider, our work is essential to the sanitation of our environment. We eradicate, control or suppress weeds, pest and fungus. We do this with proper plant care which includes, but not limited to, services we provide such as: mowing, disease and insect control, weed eradication and/or suppression and bed maintenance.
For the safety of our clients, employees, and their families we are adopting safety procedures to limit exposure and keep social distancing:
You, Our Clients:
We are going to continue to service you as promised. If you need to meet with us, we are happy to meet virtually through FaceTime. If FaceTime doesn’t work, we can discuss by sending picture and talking over the phone. This is how we will meet for the next 8 weeks or as directed by the CDC and or local government. Please refrain from talking to our team members during the next 8 weeks. Instead please call your designer or representative from Rosehill, or contact the main office and we’ll direct you to the correct person. We want to be available to help with any of your needs during the stay at home order so please let us know if we can help you with anything as we work outside your property. I you are used to shopping our garden center, please consider letting us deliver something to your front door, or curbside. Outdoor activities are encouraged with proper social distancing.
Our Operations:
We are staggering our start times in the morning and evening so that no Rosehill employee will have contact with anyone other than their immediate crew. We have also designated trucks to team leaders and are asking everyone else to drive their personal vehicles to job sites. On job sites we will practice social distancing. Our office and managerial staff will be working from home but will still be available by phone and email. Our Garden Center will be closed during the stay at home order. We will be working behind the scenes to be ready for when the order is lifted.
Our Team:
We have built in and budgeted for sick days, personal days and vacation days for our full-time team members to use. As usual we have asked our team members to stay home if they haven’t felt well and use a sick day. Last week we asked our team members to bring their lunches with them and eat on job sites to prevent social contact during their lunch break.
I value you, our team members, and the health and safety of everyone we are around. I’m confident in the steps that we are taking. We will emerge from this health crisis strong and colorful just as our landscapes will in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, be well, be safe and enjoy the outdoors when the weather allows.
