When it comes to plant ideas, there are no shortage of things to consider when you make the decision to create a natural, living fence around your home or business.
Here are some natural fences that we’d recommend you take a look at incorporating into your landscaping:
Bamboo – This fast-growing plant can grow several inches a day. As long as it has water and sunlight, this hearty plant will provide a quick fence almost as fast as a hammer and nails can. Be careful to contain bamboo, or it will spread to areas you might not want it.
Perfecta Junipers – These trees can grow at a rate of one foot up per year and one foot out per year, depending on what you want and how you trim them. They are very versatile because they are easy to trim and feature frequent branching, which make them dense and hard to see through. They’ll grow up to 8-feet wide and 16-feet tall, if you let them.
White Pines – These are fast-growing trees that are a little more open. They can grow two feet per year, stretching to 20- to 30-feet tall. They can provide a barrier for wind and sight without being a complete wall.
