Stowers opened its doors in 1995 on a 10 acre research campus in the heart of Kansas City on the former site of menorah Hospital. Construction ensued under the direction of J.E. Dunn, who served as general contractor. Founder Jim and Virginia Stowers invested in this endeavor to help humanity by supporting the research that promises solutions to cancer and other life-altering diseases. Rosehill Gardens in conjunction with J.E. Dunn installed the awe inspiring trees and landscape in beds that sweep this unique Medical Research Center’s property.
