Another beautiful newsletter reminds me I am terribly tardy in thanking you for the amazing work Amanda and her crew performed for us last April. We had ripped out all the overgrown bushes next to the front of our house and didn’t have a clue what to plant next. We called Rosehill and were blessed to meet Amanda! She not only knew what would flourish in the troublesome area of mixed sunlight, but she could see we needed extra dirt, suggested redoing the edging in a pleasing design, and added underground gutter drainage to rid us of ugly splash blocks! Your crew was courteous, fast, and offered to do several extras for us, like placing leftover sod on the bare areas of our yard, and hauling away the splash blocks. A couple of months later, Amanda reserved three bushes for our back yard that I found on your database.

Two things that have changed since Rosehill took over snow…………….

1) Calls have gone from no less than 15 an event to one or two and those are melt and refreeze issues not “WHERE ARE THEY??” issues.

2) Tenants have complimented the snow crews…..keep in mind the two tenants that have taken the time to email/call me are two tenants that (bless their hearts) are rarely happy with anything!!! The manager at BRGR said this was the best snow contractor since BRGR has been open!!

The calls from customers and tenants on the complimenting the landscaping is too numerous to count!!

I am sitting at Steak and Shake on Shawnee Mission and two of your guys just left. As they were leaving, an older couple were walking towards the door. The gentleman was helping his wife as she was using a walker. They were several feet from the door as your people were leaving but, your guys took the time to stop and hold the door for them. One man held the inner door and the other held the outer.

I know we spoke about our “event” yesterday but today I just must share what has been happening here on our job with your crew and designer John. The wall is absolutely perfect, but I had wanted to just make a safe way to get into the back yard without too much cost. Rosehill is absolutely a 5 star operation. I used them to fully design and install the landscape in my backyard. I met with designer Tom Hall and discussed what I had in mind as far as wish list items, types of features and plants, and Tom delivered a design that not only captured everything I was looking for, but really brought design expertise and concepts that I wouldn’t have thought of on my own. I initially planned to tackle this project on my own, but I’m so glad that I hired these guys. They definitely earned their reputation, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. After signing the contract, the entire process was incredible and very well managed by Tom. The only time I had to call Tom during the project was to tell him how happy I was with the how the yard was shaping up. Hands down, Rosehill (and hopefully Tom) will handle the landscaping on every project we have in the future. It really shows that this is a 100 yr old company – they know what they’re doing!
(Also the weeping Alaskan Cedar was switched out for another pine, but I don’t have a picture of that handy )
