What drew you to this field of study/ career?
I started mowing lawns at a young age. I wanted a four wheeler so my dad said “ If you want something nice, you will buy it with your own money and you will appreciate more.” That’s where it all began
What area of Landscape Design do you specialize in for Rosehill Gardens?
Mostly commercial landscaping. I am working on a few residential estimates now.
What are some new trends you are seeing in the industry?
I would say low maintenance and more of a native look.
What is your favorite type of naturescape/landscape?
I really enjoy designing a “Colorado look” Lots of spruces, pines, aspens, boulders, and of course some type of water feature.
What would you like customers to remember when starting the design process?

Especially, if it is an intricate design with hardscapes, water features, landscaping and sub-contractors.
Weather plays a big part too during the install process. Just to remind them that sometimes jobs will be delayed.
