Family / Interests / Hobbies: I am married with two daughters and a son. I play sand volleyball and love to watch my kids sports and activities.
My favorite thing about Landscaping / Designing / Outdoors: Being an integral part of a project design and implementation. Then seeing the landscape mature through the years!
My Inspiration: My father is a gardener. During childhood I envisioned myself as an architect. Landscape Architecture is the best of both worlds.
My favorite landscape style: English / Romantic Garden
Inspirational Quotes: “Laughter is life’s shock absorbers” – Adrian Rogers
“Forgiveness is not an occasional act; it is a permanent attitude” – Martin Luther King
“Mountain tops encourage us. But valleys mature us” – anonymous
“Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength” – Corrie Ten Boom
Valuable design lesson: Over-planting. Care must be taken in plant selection to achieve immediate aesthetics and functionality; eventually achieving the desired maturity that enhances a property’s value.
My ideal outdoor space: Being enveloped in a Legacy Garden – where initial design and care-filled plant selections mature into well-structured, harmonious landscape heirlooms. Well-designed exterior spaces can create casual warmth, exotic outdoor rooms, or formal manicured pieces of art.
My favorite landscape style: English Romantic Garden. Landscaping should evoke all of the senses. Landscape Design in harmony with nature.
